Within Techno-Web Ltd t/a 4SureHosting, we provide an ever increasing number of clients with web hosting and email/webmail hosting packages, with full server support and technical support for the hosting of Actinic Ecommerce software titles (Actinic Catalog, Business & Developer) sales sites.

Each server is configured with mirrored hard drives for the provision of fall-back protection should there be a hardware fault within a single drive within a server, thus ensuring that your web site continues being served.

Each server is monitored 24 hrs a day, 365 days of the year with pager alerts configured to inform us of any problems that may occur within a particular server so that it can be rectified as quickly possible.

Our DNS Servers are physically routed via differing locations so as to ensure that if the primary name server is malfunctioning, your web sites will still be resolved and contactable. Our named servers are: ns1.4surehosting.com & ns2.4surehosting.com.

At 4SureHosting we operate 2 fully functional Data Centres as follows:


Alpha Data Centre: · The Alpha London Hosting Centre has 23,420m² / 252,089ft² total gross area of facilities. 5m slab to slab height equating to 4.45m clear height to the underside of the deepest beam. Raised floors with anti-static tiles.

Electrical systems: To guarantee uninterrupted availability of main power and in the event of normal power failure, minimum N+1 redundancy on power supply, mains power supplied via 2 x 11kV incomers to 4 x 11kV - 400V transformers.

Fire Detection: Analogue addressable fire detection system in all areas (smoke & heat) with manual break glass units. High Sensitivity Smoke Detection devices (HSSD) and alarm system with Gas fire suppression system using Argonite.

High Performance Backbone: The Alpha hosting centre provides reliable and fast access to the major Internet access points throughout the world, including LINX, as well as major European Exchange points. The Alpha Site also utilises major public and private peering points to optimize performance.

Some key features of the network:

• Extensive bandwidth infrastructure - 200Mbps in the UK, 90Mbps in Europe, and 2x100Mbps transatlantic transit links.
• The Alpha Site Data Centre are full members of Internet Exchange Points such as LINX (the London Internet Exchange), DeCix in Frankfurt and PARIX, MAE Paris and FreeIX in Paris, whose main functions are to allow Internet Service Providers in their respective countries to easily exchange Internet traffic and to help them improve connectivity and service for their customers. Our Alpha Site Data Centre currently peers with 86% of LINX members providing for an extensive data connectivity solution.

Bravo Data Centre: With more than 115,000 square feet of raised floor space the Bravo London facility is one of the largest operational Hosting Centres in existence. The Bravo London Hosting Centre space is divided into nine floors. Each equipment suite is equipped with a raised access floor and false ceiling. The raised floor was laid using 600x600mm, laminated vinyl tiles.

Electrical systems: To guarantee uninterrupted availability of main power, 3 1600KVA and 2 2000KVA Synchromeshed Generators back up the site power.

The generators start up also immediately when a drop or mains’ failure is sensed and are able to cater for full load within approximately 30 seconds after start-up.

Fire Detection: VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) systems continually sample the air for non-combustible matter and combustible ion particles. They will report immediately any irregularities to the facility staff and the Network Operation Centers.

High Performance Backbone: Once the data is passed on to our Bravo Site backbone providers it is transported under strict SLA’s, so that the unrivaled throughput does not end after leaving the Hosting Centre. Policy to keep data as long as possible on this backbone (as opposed to the common strategy to flush traffic directly to the destination network) means that these benefits are maximised.

Some key features of the network:

• Throughput guarantee: 99.8% packet success. In a network where ‘bottle necks’ exist, packets will ‘drop’ or disappear. Our Bravo Site provider guarantees that 99.5% of your packets will go through immediately, without dropping.
• Latency guarantee: 85 milliseconds per ‘hop’ (router) on the continents. The transatlantic guarantee is 100 ms, due to the cable length.
• 8 hop network diameter: instead of routing your traffic over routers (which cause latency!), Our Bravo Site Backbone provider will send your data through switches whenever possible. These do not slow down your data, thus enhancing throughput even further. Data will encounter no more than eight backbone provider routers, worldwide.
